The manufacturing process of plastic clamshells usually includes the following steps:

Determine the design: First of all, you need to determine the design of the clamshell, including shape, size, sealing method, etc. Designers should consider the function and aesthetics of the clamshell according to the needs of the product and the actual use.

Make mold: According to the design requirements, make a matching mold. The production of the mold is usually carried out with precision machining using CNC machine tools to ensure the accuracy of the size and shape of the clamshell.

Preparation of raw materials: Select suitable high-quality food grade plastic raw materials, such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP). Ensure that the raw material is free of impurities and contaminants, so as not to affect the quality of the clamshell.

Injection molding: Put the prepared plastic raw materials into the injection molding machine for heating and melting. Once the plastic is melted, it is injected into the finished mold, and through the pressure and temperature control of the injection molding machine, the plastic is filled into the cavity in the mold.

Cooling and demoulding: After the injection molding process is completed, the plastic needs to be cooled and cured. The cooling time depends on the nature and thickness of the plastic. Once the cooling is complete, open the mold and remove the molded plastic clamshell bottle cap from the mold.

Trimming and quality inspection: Trim the removed plastic clamshell to remove excess plastic corners and burrs. Then the quality inspection is carried out to check the size, appearance and sealing performance of the clamshell.

Packaging and delivery: The plastic clamshell that has passed the quality inspection can be packaged, and the packaging form can be selected according to the actual needs. After the packaging is complete, the product is ready to leave the factory for the sealing and packaging of liquid products.
